Kehlani's April 30th show in Seattle after redesign

A few weeks into the tour the Lighting Director was asked by production as well as the tour photographer to revamp the lighting rig since the layout was intricate and took time to set up, and had large wash fixtures being turned directly into the eyes of the audience and camera lenses. She only had about an hour of one load in to make the physical changes to the rig, so she had to be ready to make the changes quickly. Using Vectorworks she was able to rearrange fixtures in advance to see what they would look like and how they would fit, and submit a design change to management so they could see how the rig was streamlined and would make better use of fixtures in different placements. Below you can see the transition from the original plot provided by the original designer's firm into the plot provided by LEAPS to aid in the redesign process.
